04/03/08- Nathan's first seizure, CT scan revealed AVM doctors said AVM may never be cured

04/07/08- first embolization treatment

07/01/08- second embolization treatment

07/02/08- third embolization treatment (13 hour procedure)

07/03/08- recieved great news! there's only one connection left out of hundreds

09/22/08- Nathan passed his audiology test. Praise God!

10/23/08- Nathan's eyes were checked by a pediatric specialist and his eyes are healthy!

11/10/08- Admitted into VMC because of irritablility, diffiulty feeding and right eye deviation

11/11/08- Admitted into UCSF. Nathan has moderate hydrocephalus and they plan on inserting a shunt

11/13/08- Nathan's VP shunt surgery successful

11/17/08- New moderate bleed within the ventricles. Right eye deviation & right side weakness

11/19/08- New minimal bleed within the same area as previous bleed. 30 minute seizure. He is now very sleepy and hard to wake up

11/20/08- 10am Nathan was taken down to the neuro angiogram suite where he will be sedated and they will perform the

angriogram/embolization

11/26/08- nathan's big day. scheduled craniotomy @ 8:30am

11/26/08- 8 hour surgery. Doctor's pleased with results. All AVMs visible were eliminated. Hallelujah!!

12/05/08- Emergency operation. They are going to place in an external shunt to relieve the pressure in his brain.

12/06/08- Nathan's intracranial pressure is getting worse..they think the external shunt might have been occluded.

12/06/08- Due to the rising pressures, Nathan will "not survive this"

12/07/08- Nathan's pressures started to decrease and stabilize

12/08/08- Nathan is no longer in imminent danger of dying. Prognosis is that he will remain in a "vegetative state"

12/09/08- Nathan is making new sounds. Little moans. We haven't heard a peep out of him in three weeks!

12/18/08- We will be discharged tomorrow! Nathan will be home for CHRISTMAS!! =)

12/19/08- we're home =)

12/25/08- Happy Birthday Jesus! Nathan's first christmas! and Nathan turns 11 months!

01/08/09- Nathan is scheduled for a follow up appointment with his neurologist Dr.Fullerton

01/11/09- Angels ushered our dear precious Nathan James at the break of dawn Sunday, January 11th to spend his first day in the loving arms of Jesus in heaven.
